MARAE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER We are pleased to invite applications from passionate and energetic individuals to manage the delivery of Ngati Porou Marae Development Projects. The project signifies Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou's commitment to support the aspirations of whanau and hapu with respect to `marae'. The vision is for marae to be thriving, fully functional, hapu-centred institutions that cater for the physical and cultural needs of whanau, hapu and communities to gather, celebrate, share, learn and grow. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer. You will provide high quality advice, facilitation, and a range of information and funding services to: ? Support vibrant sustainable marae and engaged whanau and hapu ? Identify marae aspirations and goals; and ? Ensure optimal use of grant funding. To be successful in this role you will have: ? A tertiary qualification and a minimum of 4 years experience managing projects or other relevant experience ? Knowledge of the marae and hapu within and across Ngati Porou ? Demonstrated experience dealing with funding applications, financial management processes (particularly budgeting), monitoring, and reporting on projects. ? A knowledge of Te Reo Ake me ona tikanga o Ngati Porou ? Strong leadership and people management skills ? Proven ability to drive projects to completion and be on time and within budget ? Demonstrated contract administration experience ? Experience in marae and hapu development; and ? Extensive experience working with Ngati Porou marae, hapu and community.
